Sudoku Maya Gold is a great version of the classic Sudoku, featuring different options that enhance the original game concept. Sudoku Maya Gold is challenging and enjoyable. Its simple graphics plus its addictive gameplay, make it a perfect game to enjoy at your free time.
The rules are basically the same as in the classic Sodoku, that is, to complete the tiles with the missing number, without repeating any numbers in the regions, columns or lines. Sodoku Maya Gold has two game modes to play, one is the traditional, and allows you to customize a game according to your expertise. There are no levels to pass in this mode, so gameplay is unlimited. You can, for example, choose the number of tiles of each game, set a timer, select any of three difficulty levels or change the tile design.
On the other hand, the quest mode poses a different challenge: make your way up to a temple collecting gold for a god. Here, difficulty increases level after level, (there are forty in the full version), and there is time limit to complete them.
The game has simple but nice graphics, good sounds, and great music as well.

I've played the game since WinXP all the way to Win10. It's one of my go-to brain numbing before bed. I love the ability to mark the blank cells with the possibilities and keep going, so when there are only or 3 blanks in a line or group I can easily see what's needed.

I'd really like to be able to change the music, 1/2 the time it's a really nice "Mayan" upbeat, the other 1/2 its an incoherent vocal that's kind of a drag. It really helped my understanding of Sudoku, and in several different programs I've tried I found that even the hard mode in them was surprisingly easy.

For those who bother to read this, on the Quest mode, if you watch the timer, and notice it's starting to flash, you can exit the game and not get timed out and have to start over. No point loss, the program doesn't recognize you tried, only that you escaped the sacrifice.
